Genesis Ascended Part 1 · ARK Tides of Fortune

Genesis 1 Dead men log no transfers.

One new ocean. One fresh start. One boat economy held together by rum, rope, and remarkably poor judgment. The harbor stays sealed until the crew earns the keys, savvy?

No imported luck. No suspicious pirate accounting. No “funny how I owned the economy by Tuesday” nonsense.

Everyone hauls; everyone profits

The Voyage

Periodic save snapshots count what the fleet can prove: survivors, beasts, builds, mutations, stockpiles, and the occasional catastrophe.

01

First Mate

The Crew Makes Landfall

Discover 40 unique survivors in the Genesis save.

0/40Reward: 3x taming for 7 days
What the save counts

The save has to see you. Ghost stories, Discord lurking, and "I was totally there, mate" do not count. The 3x taming lands server-wide the moment the fleet hits 40.

02

Beastmaster

Monsters in the Hold

Log 25 unique tamed species at level 201+. Twenty-five raptors remain one raptor, you degenerates.

0/25Reward: dyes + Gen 1 recolors

Plunder: 100 of each dye for the fleet, a free recolor of any Gen 1 exclusive tame for every crew member (don't let the capt'n hoard the recolors), and website recognition for the crews that contributed.

What the Ledger can see
  • Unique species only — twenty-five level-201 raptors is still one raptor.
  • Counts the current tame level in the snapshot; level 201+ qualifies.
  • Dead, uploaded, or parser-blind cryopodded beasts can't be counted. The sea remembers many things; missing dinos are not one of them.
03

Master Builder

Raise the Port

The whole server builds one working coastal hideout. Uploaded pieces and “trust me, it was there five minutes ago” do not count.

What counts as raised
  • Placed and tribe-owned, on Genesis 1
  • Visible in the save snapshot
  • Every threshold standing at the same time — the fleet's totals, not one tribe's
  • Uploaded items, unplaced pieces, inventory screenshots, and "it was there five minutes ago" do not count.
04

Mutation Hunters

Breed the Beast

One tribe produces a dino with 20 total mutations. A single-tribe feat pays a single-tribe prize.

0/20Reward: recolor + free raise per member

Plunder: for each member of the winning tribe — a free dino recolor and a free raise (admins grow one baby of your choosing to adult at 100% imprint). Per crew member; don't let the capt'n hoard the babies either.

Single-tribe feat, single-tribe prize — the fleet doesn't breed your mutation for you. Save-tracked where the parser gives clean data; if Wildcard turns it to soup, admins switch to manual review.

05

Quartermaster

Stock the Hold

Deposit 20,000 Metal Ingots in the Port Authority container. Private vaults are not the hold, no matter how convincing your hat is.

0/20,000Reward: PvE cryopod rules

Only the event container counts — private tribe storage does not. If it is not in the Port Authority container, it is not in the hold.

The save knows what happened. The crew tells us whether it was legendary. Progress is periodic, not minute-by-minute, and milestones may be tuned after week one if Wildcard punches the parser in the mouth.

The fleet is not stable. The crew is not sober.

Nobody is entirely sure what Bob hauled out of the water, so the Port Authority has chosen the only responsible course: lock the whole harbor down and make everyone earn their way out.

Dead men log no transfers. Not a threat. Merely excellent harbor policy.

Save-tracked progressPeriodic Genesis snapshots prove the haul.
Three ways to matterFight, build, tame, die beautifully—or all four.
Server-wide unlocksWhen the fleet wins, the fleet gets paid.

Four locks on the harbor.

At launch, Genesis 1 is a clean port: official rates, no transfers, no lottery, and cryopods with actual consequences. Every lock has a key. None of them is rum.

01Locked at launch

Rates Lock

Official PvE Standard rates hold until the first verified GAMMA clear.

Key: The First Tide
02Harbor sealed

Transfer Lock

Transfers open only when August 1 has arrived and the final encounter is dead on ALPHA.

Key: whichever happens last
03No lucky draws

Lottery Lock

The /lottery stays dark until 10 distinct crews each post one crew photo.

0/10 crews aboard
04PvP rules active

Cryopod Lock

Cooldown and deploy-sickness remain until the Quartermaster's hold contains 20,000 Metal Ingots.

0/20,000 ingots

The last stubborn lock opens the harbor.

Transfers locked
Condition A August 1, 2026 reached

The calendar has not yet been bribed.

Condition B Final encounter cleared on ALPHA

ALPHA remains inconveniently alive.

Harbor status Sealed tight

Kill ALPHA early? Grand. The calendar remains unimpressed. August 1 arrives first? Grand again. ALPHA still needs persuading.

Should Wildcard move the July 2 launch, the 30-day date moves with it. That is scheduling, not mutiny.

Prefer pictures? Study the chart.

The artwork is the quick-read version. The live cards and counters on this page are the source of truth when the fleet begins moving.

Three ways to sail.

You do not need to be a boss-slaying lunatic to matter. Pick a track, chase all three, or spend the month inventing new ways to drown with confidence.

Rise or get wrecked

The Gauntlet

Three fights. Three increasingly unreasonable invoices for the bosses.

The First Tide

GammaUncleared

First verified GAMMA clear returns normal Quietly Ascended rates. The first crew ashore also takes Tek engrams, five random chibis, and the First Tide Crew role.

UnlockNormal ratesPlunderTek + chibis + role

Harbor Calibration

BetaUncleared

The first Beta victory crew chooses up to six official color IDs for a 14-day wild color event. Every hand in the fight earns 50 Element and the Harbor Calibration Crew role.

Unlock14-day color eventPlunder50 Element each + role

The Fortune Break

AlphaUncleared

Send the final encounter to the locker on ALPHA. This clears the boss half of the transfer lock. Victors haul in 1000 Element, the Fortune Breakers role, and permanent launch-ledger recognition.

UnlockTransfer boss conditionPlunder1000 Element + role

Claim a clear: post the victory shot in #ark-text-asa with your crew name, hands aboard, and the difficulty you sent to the locker. The first crew ashore takes the named role — first ashore, first remembered.

The sea keeps receipts

The Captain's Ledger

Dead men log no transfers—but they do log beautifully.

Total legitimate deaths0
Most cursed survivorAwaiting a volunteer
Most cursed tribeNo crew has sunk yet
First deathThe sea is waiting

The Ledger keeps its own books from the periodic snapshots — no paperwork required of you, mate:

  • Total deaths by survivor
  • Total deaths by tribe
  • First death logged by the Ledger
  • Most deaths — the reigning Cursed
  • Biggest death-count jump between snapshots
  • Death heatmap — if the locations parse cleanly

Unlock the lottery

Ten distinct crews each post at least one crew photo in #ark-text-asa. One crew posting ten photos is not teamwork; it is spam wearing boots.

0/10 crewsReward: /lottery live server-wide

The Cursed

The survivor with the most legitimate deaths earns The Cursed Discord role. Worn with honor. The sea claimed you more than anyone; that is practically a personality.

Obvious death farming may be thrown overboard. Die like a pirate, not like a spreadsheet.

Fine stories earn extra treasure.

  • Funniest ocean disaster
  • Best crew photo
  • First ship or base screenshot
  • Coolest pirate-themed build
  • Helpful Genesis tip
  • Rescue or body-recovery story
  • Best “we should not have done that” moment
  • Mission disaster of the week

Selected entries earn Discord shoutouts, website features, free dino recolors, and the quiet respect reserved for people who failed spectacularly in public.

The Port Authority Lottery

Once ten distinct crews spring the lock, the /lottery runs server-wide as the launch-stretch event lottery. Entries are handed out for:

  • Deckhand bounties
  • Funny death submissions
  • Helpful tips for the crew
  • Screenshot / event participation
  • Build showcases
  • Rescue stories
  • "Deeply stupid but undeniably impressive" moments

Prizes pay out off-map or once Genesis transfers unlock, so the fresh-start economy stays clean and nobody's accounting looks suspicious.

Less like guidelines this time.

Genesis 1 uses Official PvE-style rules during the launch phase. Break these and the admin team may demonstrate why keelhauling required so much rope.

01

Keep the routes open

No spawn, mission-area, teleport, terminal, or progression blocking.

02

Share the important haul

No hogging major resources or turning the coastline into private property.

03

Leave other crews breathing

No trapping survivors, tames, or anyone else's regrettable boat experiments.

04

No dark accounting

No exploits, dupes, meshing, RMT, or “technically the game let me” skulduggery.

05

Cryopods have consequences

PvP-style cooldown and deploy-sickness apply until Quartermaster is complete.

06

When in doubt, hail an admin

Wildcard weirdness happens. Ask before turning it into a cluster-wide incident.

Bring proof. Bring the crew list. Leave Bob unsupervised at your own risk.

Post victory shots, crew photos, bounty entries, and gloriously poor decisions in #ark-text-asa.

  • Crew name
  • Hands aboard
  • Screenshot or clip
  • Difficulty, bounty, or death category
The sea is fake. The deaths are real. Dead men log no transfers.
