What this boss does

The fight

This is a sandbox. Plenty of comps clear her, and other stacks work: a rex rush, a Yuty for the courage roar, even the old Procoptodon cheese. This is the one we ran and timed.

Bring this

19 Megatheriums and one Daeodon. Megatheriums because the Broodmother and her spiders are insects, and every insect a mega kills stacks a damage-and-resistance buff that snowballs the fight. Each mega is level 256, with 40 tamed points in health (19,642 HP) and 35 in melee (576%), imprinted to 100%, on an 80-armor saddle.
The Daeodon bred and fed entirely for food. Its heal aura eats food the whole fight, and food is healing duration. Load it deep (we ran 12,000 cooked meat) so it never runs dry.
For you: full flak (500 armor), a Machined Shotgun with around 300 shells, plus food, water, and about 100 Medical Brews.

The arena allows 10 survivors and 20 tames. Nineteen megas and the Daeodon fill it.

The fight

Pull her, and set both mega groups to aggressive so they tear into the first spiders and stack the insect buff on everyone.
Split them: group one on the adds, group two on attack-my-target on her.
Every two minutes, swap which group is on the boss and which is on the adds, so fresh insect kills keep the buff up on both halves of the army.
Stay just outside her melee range and keep sliding to her back. Standing still in front of her is how runs die.
Keep the Daeodon's aura on and keep it fed. Any time you are not repositioning or healing, put shotgun shells into her.

Why it holds

Her bites average around 3,194 raw and her hardest hit is 3,370, but 80 saddle armor plus the Megatheriums' own insect resistance cut that to about 219 a hit, which 19,642 HP soaks all day. The fed Daeodon covers the rest. Alpha went down in 331 seconds.
