Live Feeding model: Crumplecorn (MIT) + engine drain measured on our servers

We use our cluster rates, or rates you type in, to show how long a baby lasts on a given food. Kibble tiers give different food by species; each species' favourite tier can give less or more than the others. The rest of the loop is in the breeding guide.

Updated October 2026: food drain now follows the engine curve we measured on our own servers, including the cluster's 0.5x tamed food drain. On QA rates, most babies need about half the food the old numbers showed; wyverns, drakes and Gargantar need about a quarter.

Add a baby to estimate trough life.
Trough rules. Babies cannot eat from a trough before 10% maturation. A Maeguana with nursing turned on feeds babies of any age until they are adults. A row that cannot eat the selected food is flagged and is left out of trough life.
